The package is currently written for the UK curriculum set out by DfE, but we are happy to adapt it for use
around the world.
When you purchase our package, your setting will be given access to updated or additional resources
as and when they are uploaded at no extra cost for the remainder of the licence term.

Intended for Year 7 pupils
To understand that we need to communicate with others to understand how they feel; equally giving pupils the vocabulary to describe what they want and to feel confident in recognising when they are not comfortable in a situation.

To understand that rejection is something that we all experience at some time and to begin conversations around how to manage expectations and deal with rejection in an appropriate manner.

To understand what sexual consent is, how this may be restricted, what limits someone’s capacity to be able to consent and when someone may be constrained from being able to choose.

To define sexual harrassment; understand the severity of peer-on-peer abuse; and to know where to go for advice and support.

To understand that sexual intercourse without consent is rape and to therefore explore situations where consent may be interpreted differently and why this might be. This lesson uses the film ‘Keep Breathing’ to delve into the nuances around Sexual Consent which sadly many people can often relate to and to therefore encourage a much-needed discussion.

Understanding the role of an intimacy co-ordinator and the principles behind intimate scenes and how actors are made to feel safe. How to relate the principles of consent in filming to reality and to consider how people can actively communicate and recognise consent from others
